Order Entry- Southfield, MI

Duties:
• Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
• Process orders in a professional, friendly, consistent and timely fashion. This includes providing prices for customers, salespeople, drivers, and management.
• Assist with the processing of delivery documents including listing items sold, amounts due, credit terms, and dates of shipment.
• Process product returns or incorrectly billed merchandise
• Analyze purchase orders, purchasing history, special instructions or shipping rules to compile needed data for orders
• Respond to requests from customers for information
• Engage in technical discussions with customers
• Promote solutions and services
• Resolve customer complaints in a courteous, professional and timely manner
• Remain knowledgeable and up-to-date on product changes and developments
• Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact the customer’s experience
• Work with manager to ensure proper customer service is being delivered
• Work as an inside liaison to the outside sales team regarding delivery time, status of orders, etc.

Requirements:
• Experience in MS Office, specifically Excel, Word and Outlook
• High school degree and 2 to 4 years phone based customer service experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent customer relationship skills
• Organized with an ability to know reseller activities and status on an ongoing basis
• Strong problem identification and resolution skills
• Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
• Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm

Truck Mechanic (afternoon shift) - Detroit, MI

Responsibilities:
• Perform mechanical repairs on commercial (class 6, 7 & 8) trucks and trailers to include dry vans/lift gates and tankers
• Perform routine maintenance- PM's/DOT inspections
• Replace tires as needed
• Must be able to work 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
• Other duties as assigned by manager

 Requirements:
• Previous experience as a truck/trailer mechanic
• Knowledge of shop equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Deadline and detail oriented
• Possess own tools for conducting repairs (specialized equipment provided)
• Familiarity and comfort with laptop diagnostics (Insight and Jaltest/Cojali software)
• Possess repair knowledge of tank trucks/trailers, oil pumping systems, meters, etc preferred
• ASE Heavy Duty Truck Repair Certificates preferred
• Possess CDL - A or B license or willingness to obtain
• Possess a good driving record and ability to test drive trucks
• Work in a safe manner at all times

Responsibilities:
• Loading or unloading bulk or case trucks by lifting heavy objects with a pallet jack, hi-lo, or by rolling drums
• Maintain and move stock in pallet system or shelves by hand, dollie, or high-lo.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets, wrapped for loading.
• Housekeeping and maintenance of warehouse

Requirements:
• Hi-lo/warehouse experience
• Experience with inventory and barcoding
• Self-motivated, high energy with an excellent attendance record
• Possess ability to perform all warehouse functions

• Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Responsibilities:
 Learn how to install, troubleshoot, repair & maintain machinery and mechanical equipment including, but not limited to:
• Oil/lubricant equipment
• Distillation Units
• Oil pumps & Oil Meters
• Oil filter baler recycling machine
• Pressurized oil loading/unloading/transfer systems
   Receive other training, including how to:
• Conduct performance testing
• Repair parts through set up and operation of drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools
• Lubricate and clean parts
• Interact with customers for intake of installation and repair orders
• Collection on customer accounts
 
 Requirements:
• Have a genuine interest in becoming mechanically and electrical skilled in installing, repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment
• Possess or willing to obtain a Chauffeur license
• Possess or ability to obtain a driver medical certification
• Relevant field experience preferred
