Sales Apprentice- Southfield, Michigan

This is an excellent opportunity for a bright and enthusiastic person with a strong desire to advance into a professional sales position within an assigned territory. Field-based training will provide the opportunity to gain knowledge of the Service Chemical and supporting service industry as well as learn sales skills taught by sales experts including sales techniques, negotiations, car dealership operations, and product utilization. This person will also make deliveries, process paperwork, learn how to fix service chemical equipment in the field, and perform other special projects. 

Duties:

• Develop and maintain understanding of products, pricing, inventory, order status, delivery status, and word tracks, etc. in order to communicate properly with customers and order entry staff
• Deliver and set up new service chemical equipment at customer locations
• Perform a variety of maintenance and repair procedures at the customer site
• Assist with the coordination of shipments and provide customer service and support to customers & the sales team

Requirements:
• Associates degree with a focus in Communications, Business, Sales, or Marketing or equivalent sales experience
• One year of experience in a customer-facing sales role (business to business)
• Valid driver’s license
• Good driving record, able to meet Vesco Oil Corporation’s driving requirements
• Well-groomed with professional business attire and appearance
• Must be able to transport company product in company vehicle

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and move 55 gal. drums with proper handling equipment.

Route Sales- Columbus, Ohio

The Auto Appearance Route Salesperson is responsible to grow and manage an assigned territory selling auto detailing products in the Columbus area. The route sales representative will call on Dealerships, Body Shops and Auto Detail Shops.

The successful candidate will have experience and/or be knowledgeable in Auto Dealership Service, Body Shop Parts and New/Used Car Dept. Sales.

Duties:
• Build and service relationships, development of new business, and retention of existing business
• Cultivate leads; seek out new business opportunities by developing a referral network that can generate leads
• Cold call on prospective business opportunities
• Follow up on all leads and referrals resulting from internal leads
• Determine products that will best match customer's needs
• Communicate new product and service opportunities
• Maintain open lines of communication with customers and sales team

Requirements:
• 1-2 years prior sales experience
• Hands on familiarity with auto reconditioning methods helpful
• CDL License preferred or must be able to obtain
• Excellent driving record
• Self-motivated and disciplined team player with an outgoing personality and a glass half full mentality.

Minimum of 90 days side by side hands on training with ongoing support from the Columbus distribution warehouse and sales team.

Service Tech Position- Grand Rapids

Duties:
Responsible for performing duties to install, troubleshoot, repair & maintain machinery and mechanical equipment at Vesco Oil locations. Installation, repair & maintenance of machinery and mechanical equipment to include, but not limited to:
• Oil/lubricant equipment
• Distillation Units
• Oil pumps
• Oil meters
• Oil filter baler recycling machine
• Pressurized oil loading/unloading/transfer systems

Other responsibilities to include:
• Conduct performance testing
• Repair parts through set up and operation of drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools
• Lubricate and clean parts
• Interact with customers for intake of installation and repair orders
• Collection on customer accounts
